Questions Before You Choose?
We’ve answered some of the questions customers most often ask before ordering a Frenchmoor log store.
Which size log store do I need?
Our three standard sizes provide approximately 1.2m³, 1.6m³ and 1.9m³ of log storage. The right choice depends on how frequently you use your fire or wood burner and how much seasoned firewood you normally keep. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll be happy to help you choose.
How much firewood will each size hold?
Our 4ft, 5ft and 6ft log stores provide approximately 1.2m³, 1.6m³ and 1.9m³ of storage respectively. Actual quantities will vary depending on log size and how they are stacked.
Is delivery included in the price?
Yes. Our advertised prices include delivery to Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire, subject to suitable access. If you're outside these areas, please ask us — we may still be able to help.
Is professional assembly included?
Yes. Your Frenchmoor log store is delivered and professionally assembled by our team in its prepared position. There's no flat-pack kit to build and no separate assembly charge.
What do I need to prepare before delivery?
Your log store needs a flat, level and firm base ready before delivery. Suitable bases include level gravel, paving slabs or concrete hardstanding. If you're unsure whether your proposed base is suitable, please ask us before ordering.
What access do you need?
Please tell us before delivery if the carry from our delivery vehicle to the installation position is more than 15 metres. Access must also provide sufficient width and height for us to safely carry the building panels through to the installation area. If you have gates, narrow passages, restricted height, steps or other potential obstructions, please ask us before ordering — we're happy to advise.
Where do you deliver?
Our standard prices include delivery to Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire. If you're outside our standard delivery area, please ask us for availability and a delivery quotation.
How quickly can you deliver?
Standard delivery is within 14 working days of your order. Need it sooner? Ask us about our Fast Track service and we'll let you know the earliest delivery available.
Which colours are available?
We've deliberately kept the choice simple. Your log store is available in three carefully selected Frenchmoor finishes: Blackdown, Tor Stone and Frenchmouse Grey. Each has been chosen to sit naturally within a wide range of garden settings.
Can Frenchmoor make a bespoke size?
Absolutely. The three sizes shown here have been selected to make ordering straightforward, but Frenchmoor can make your log store to virtually any size you require. Ask us for a bespoke quotation.
